I know, what a lameass title..but I'm tired and cranky and I've had another migraine for the past 48 hours, deal with it.
I don't always agree with some of the things the blog author of the linked post writes. I'm sure if she reads my blog, she'd say the same thing. But I love her latest post and wanted to give it some linky love.
Open Letter to Adoptive Parents and PAP's
Thanks for the link. she wrote very eloquently. I have never gotten the "pray for the birth mother to make the right decision" thing either unless you are genuinely praying with the possibility that doesn't include you adopting that baby. hope your migraine is better. I have them too. Ugh!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to my blog. This shouldn't bring tears to my eyes - "I don't always agree with some of the things the blog author of the linked post writes. I'm sure if she reads my blog, she'd say the same thing." - but it did. It's such a freakin' relief... someone who can walk on the common ground without fear. I'm exhausted by people who think agreeing means losing. I appreciate you.
ReplyDeletegreat link. i hope the awardees of the 10th blog of shame award are reading it.
ReplyDeleteSally, I completely agree :) I appreciate you as well. It's not often, although several of my readers are the exception, that AP's "get it" so eloquently.
ReplyDeleteLee ~ My headache is a little better now..caffeine definitely helps..lol.
Jennifer ~ I sincerely hope so. I was going to try and leave a comment but he shut the comments down. Shocker.
What an amazing post. I wonder how many PAP's with fertility issues forget to move from the self involvement of the reproductive endocrinologist's office to the reality that they are dealing with the hearts and minds of real people.
