Not Only Mean But Crazy

You, yes readers...are mean.  Not only are you all mean, you're crazy.   And you are ALL my personal minions.  No, are.

Because SHE said so.

I feel like I should give myself a title..."ringleader" just doesn't roll off the tongue.

Yup..clearly she's right..and I'm wrong.  I have no idea what I'm talking about...and neither do any of you.

I'm not an adoptee either, right? And she didn't really say that she wasn't going to encourage M to enter rehab before M handed over her child to her and her wife?

A lovely quote from the linked post...

"These people (meaning all of us mean, crazy, disturbed people who have nothing better to do than bother this poor woman) have only served to make me want to advocate for adoption all the more! All of them are really lucky to never have suffered the devastation of infertility, miscarriage, or adoption disruption. It makes it easy for them to judge people they know nothing about."

Ummmm...try being adopted and being out of the fog.  It's no picnic either sweetheart.

  1. Try being adopted, suffering infertility, six miscarriages before a live birth and then the special 'joys' of reunion and the adoption blinkers coming off.Not complaining, that's life and if you're lucky and thoughtful, gives you more empathy and understanding of others.Life isn't a competition.

  2. "Life isn't a competition." Exactly Von. ::hugs::

  3. I think it's ironic that those nitwits pretty much held a pregnant woman hostage, fed her drugs and kept her away from rehab in order to procure her kid and they have the nerve to call you crazy.

Those two kookybirds have more problems than every so-called angry adoptee out there.

  4. I forgot about these nut jobs! I'm glad to hear that they haven't adopted!!

  5. Seriously- these 2 are criminal. I miss the days when gay people were happy being gay and did not try to be hetero with the whole kid thing. Adoption is NOT a right for anyone. Im glad my lesbian daughter has no interest in having or adopting kids.

  6. I have experienced both fertility problems and miscarriage.

I STILL don't understand what that has to do with adoption.

Personal pain is NOT a license for unethical behavior in adoption--the rights of a child are more important than the rights of an adult whose life isn't working out the way they want it to.

If she thinks she knows adoption better than people who have lived it for decades--please, by all means, educate us! But so far, all she's done is call people names.

  7. What Amanda said. Oh and what Linda said too... pretty much echoing everyone's comments lol.

Srsly, these people are just projecting their crazy status outwards because they don't want to admit they are in the wrong. But its as obvious as the nose on their face who is crazy and it aint you Christina or any of those who want to expose adoption for what it is. Some people just don't like honesty and truth because it could mean hindering what they lust after.

  8. So...because they have experienced infertililty and miscarriage (which, not to say it isn't traumatic, but it happens to many, many people) they have a right to do what they did to this pregnant woman? I don't get it. Look, we all have our "traumas" - it doesn't give us the right to take advantage of other people. No one's life is perfect and it's how you deal with what life deals you that indicates your character.

  9. I am so proud to be the guest of honor in their newest post! I had some comments I wanted to make while updating my blog, so I made them.... This woman's self absorbtion just floors me Christina. They don't seek help for a pregnant woman on ILLEGAL drugs because they want her baby and we are mean and crazy? I hope they don't go kill a pregnant woman and steal her baby next....goodness knows we have read enough newspaper articles about that happening....I put her vomitrocious quote on my blog under my Bastard Barf Bucket List that they are now on. People say I am a saint.....

  10. Wow- Linda's comments are biting. I've been following both the girls on the blog quoted as well as this one. As an adopted lesbian with a baby boy I'm completely offended. Since when does a persons sexuality play into being a fit parent? If I were to adopt, as has been mentioned on here, it would only be in the situation where an older child was in foster care and all means had been exhausted. In that case would I somehow be worse of a parent for "trying to play hetero". These girls shouldn't be banned from adoption for being lesbians- they should be banned for failing to see the selfishness of their methods and the reckless way handle other human beings.

  11. Thanks Meredith. I won't try and explain what Linda was saying..I'll let her come here and do that herself if she wants.

I am glad that you can recognize the lengths that C and E were going to go get the baby were selfish and reckless. Honestly, and I'm not trying to be snarky here, it's refreshing.
