Totally and Completely Off Topic

Okay, so I redid my template a few days ago…and I'm extremely a bit confuzzled. When I'm at home on my laptop (sitting on my comfy couch, sipping a hot cup of coffee, slippers on my feet, soft music playi…OOPS..sorry, started daydreaming there..lol), and I go to view my blog, the colors are a nice muted green color for the grass, baby blue for the header, and burgundy letters.

But when I'm at work, and I view my blog, it's this ugly fluorescent green for the grass, yucky aquamarine blue for the sky with brownish red letters.

What do you see when you're viewing my blog?? Help???

  1. Bright green, baby blue and a purple box. I like it; it is cheery!

  3. At my work, I'm seeing something closer to what you see at work. Maybe it's the version of IE we're using here - I think it's old.

  6. Looks fine to me. Maybe you just need to change the colour settings on your monitor at work.

  8. Thanks so much everyone! It IS most likely the version of IE that I have at work..that and the fact that my monitor is a piece of crap and from the Jurassic Age. :D

And Von...I'm really curious...what can I do to liven it up if it's not exciting? I need to know!!!

  9. I see what you see at work.

I don't know why but it totally bugs, no angers me, that our PC world uses the term "adopt" for animals. You can't buy an animal these days, you have to "adopt" one.
I read that at PETCO yesterday and it made me really really mad. Like to the lady in line behind me was I supposed to say,"Oh did you just adopt that puppy? Hey my kids are adopted too! How bout that?"

I'm curious, what do you think about that?

  10. I have been finding myself triggered by EVERYTHING lately it seems..including that which Shannan just asked about. Even hearing the word adoption saddens me and causes pain.

It seems like it's impossible to escape the RainbowLand of Fluff and Sunshine reality of adoption..in the media and elsewhere. I just don't get it.
